How to Prepare Your Homemade Bacon Cheeseburger



1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 2 tablespoon steak sauce

4 slices of bacon

1/4 cup onion, chopped

1 can mushroom pieces, drained and finely chopped 1 pound lean ground beef

1 pound bulk pork sausage

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 1/2 teaspoon pepper



The preparation for bacon cheeseburger starts like this. Cook bacon until it become crispy. Remove bacon and after that discard all but 2 tablespoons drippings. Sauté onion in drippings until tender enough. Continue with adding the crumble bacon alongisde mushrooms to skillet and set aside.

At the same time, combine pork, beef, cheese, pepper, steak sauce and garlic powder in a large bowl. Shape into 16 patties. Then divide bacon mixture and place over eight of the patties. When done, place the remaining patties on top and after that press edges tightly to be well-sealed. Grill over medium coals until it be done (pork sausage in burgers requires thorough cooking).

Serve on buns, with lettuce if desired.
