6 tablespoons flour
150 grams of powder sugar
500 grams butter
500 grams baking chocolate
Vanilla ice cream (or you can use another flavor by your choice)
Put the cracked eggs into the bowl and add the 150 grams of powder sugar inside of it. Mix the eggs with the powder sugar with a mixer like for a sponge cake. When the mixture is ready, add the 6 tablespoons flour and continue to mix until the ingredients are well combined.
Set up a double-boiler by putting a heatproof bowl over a small pot of simmering water. Then put the baking chocolate and 400 grams of butter into a stainless bowl or a plastic one and with the steam of the water let the chocolate and butter be melted, mixing it with whisk.
At the end of the procedure add both mixtures in one bowl and mix it until they are even. When the final mixture is ready, use moulds covered with the remainings of butter (around 100 grams). Fill the moulds with the final mixture and bake for 8 minutes at 220 degrees in the oven.
4th step (Final step):
When the chocolate fondant are baked, remove the moulds carefully – so the fondants don’t become disaster. As part of our decoration we apply ice cream next to the chocolate fondant. You can also use orange pieces, or a strawberry. If you want, you can sprinkle powder sugar on top of the fondants.
